I took some time to check the San Diego Union-Tribune (SDUT) site to see if any of my printed, or my unprinted, letters or other submissions had ended up being posted there. It turns out a few of the printed ones have (all title are those assigned by the paper’s editors): (1) “Your Say | Facebook’s future? Tech giant brought it on itself” (I meant for this particular tech giant to represent all the recently censorship-happy giants; the word limit for this “essay” was 500 words); (2) “Your Opinions: People who still doubt nuclear power must wake up” (like all letters, this one was subject to a 150-word limit); (3) “It is past time to bring U.S. troops back home” partway down this multiple-letter page. Only one of these items, number 3, has previously been mentioned here.

If this post is a review, it may also appear, less nicely formatted and typically abridged, on such other sites as Amazon and GoodReads. If this post has odd gaps in it, this probably means some ads have failed to display. If you miss the ads, try reloading the page. Otherwise, just enjoy their unexpected absence.
